Controls

Apply Your Firm's Advice Standards Alongside Regulatory Controls

Nirio lets firms configure their own internal advice standards alongside its core regulatory controls. Firm standards are additive to the regulatory baseline, applied consistently across reviewed cases, and never weaken or replace that baseline.

Regulatory baseline

Nirio applies defined controls based on selected regulatory requirements. This baseline is the foundation of the review and is not weakened by firm-specific configuration.

Additive internal standards

Firms can add their own internal advice standards on top of the baseline. Internal standards extend the review to reflect what the firm expects of its own advice.

Consistent application

Firm standards are applied consistently across reviewed cases, so review reflects both the regulatory baseline and internal expectations in the same way each time.

Versioning and governance

Controls change over time. Treating them as versioned supports governance, so a review can be understood in the context of the controls that applied when it was run.

No weakening of the regulatory baseline

Firm standards are additive. They do not replace or reduce the regulatory baseline, and they are not presented as a substitute for it.
