File review checks an individual case. Compliance assurance looks at how review is applied across the firm, and whether findings are being closed consistently.

Defined regulatory controls

Nirio applies defined controls based on selected regulatory requirements. Controls are applied deterministically, so the same evidence is assessed the same way each time.

Nirio does not claim comprehensive FCA coverage, and the control catalogue continues to expand.

Firm Standards

Firms can add their own internal advice standards alongside the core controls. Firm standards are additive to the regulatory baseline and are applied consistently across reviewed cases.

Advice Case Review

Advice case review extends the review from the primary suitability report to the supporting evidence around it, so inconsistencies and missing evidence across the case can be surfaced.

Remediation

Each finding can move into a remediation workflow with an owner and a status, so it is clear what was raised and how it was addressed.

Recheck

Once evidence has been updated, a case can be rechecked so reviewers can see whether a finding has been resolved. Recheck does not create automatic approval of advice.

Population Review

Population review aggregates findings across cases, surfacing recurring themes, prevalence and trends that individual file review would not show on its own.

Compliance MI

Management information summarises the state of the reviewed population, with a remediation overlay showing what remains open. This supports oversight rather than replacing it.

Integration with existing workflow

Nirio is designed to sit alongside existing advice and review processes. Inputs can be provided directly or through an available integration, including XPLAN connectivity where available.
